1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Liquid Amber Partners LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of screwboltsize.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

The Site provides a free, browser-based tool for identifying screws and bolts by measurement (diameter, length, thread pitch, head type, and drive type), covering metric (M1.6–M36) and imperial (#0–1") fasteners, together with editorial articles, reference charts, and guides on fastener threading, grade markings, and metric-to-imperial conversion. The tool runs in your browser and does not alter your hardware, firmware, or operating system.

3. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA/UK). By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Informational Use — No Warranty

The Site and all content on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Articles may describe measurement techniques, thread matching, grade substitution, torque guidance, and fastener repair; any physical work performed on your project is at your own risk. Fastener selection for structural, automotive, aerospace, pressure-vessel, or other safety-critical applications must be verified against the relevant manufacturer specification, engineering drawing, or applicable code (for example ASTM, ISO, SAE, or DIN). We are not responsible for injury, property damage, or equipment failure resulting from following any guidance on this Site.

5. Accuracy of Information

We attempt to keep charts, size tables, grade markings, and thread-pitch data accurate and current. Standards are revised and retailer listings change frequently. Always verify current specifications directly with the manufacturer, the relevant standards body, or a qualified engineer before making a safety-critical decision.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

You agree not to: (a) use the Site to violate any law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its servers, or the accounts of other users; (c) interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site's infrastructure; (d) use automated scraping, crawling, or data-mining tools except for well-behaved search-engine crawlers respecting robots.txt; or (e) reproduce or re-host the Site's identifier tool, fastener databases, or content in a manner that presents it as your own.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate partners, manufacturers, standards bodies, and reference sources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liquid Amber Partners LLC, its members, officers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on any content — including without limitation injury, damage to equipment or materials, fastener failure, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this paragraph limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
